Professional Counseling to Help Lighten the Load

Mental health care isn’t only reserved for those at their breaking points. Counseling doesn’t require a crisis! It helps those dealing with all sorts of struggles, from burnout, anxiety, and trauma to depression, dating, and career stress. Counseling can also help those who feel lost or want to explore personal growth. 

My extensive experience allows me to work with people from all walks of life. I have a PhD in Counseling and Psychological Studies, as well as a specialization in Trauma and Crisis counseling. My advanced trauma training includes EMDR certification through EMDRIA and training at the Global Trauma Recovery Institute, where I learned and developed community-level trauma interventions for underserved populations.

Beyond private practice, I’ve led talks and developed trainings on post-traumatic growth, special needs parenting, managing stress in women, and the intersection of Christianity and psychology. My heart for helping all people access healing therapies has driven my work with populations with little access to care.  I am honored to have served in a women’s emergency shelter, counseled overseas humanitarian and mission workers, and serve as a facilitator for military families through the Red Cross.
